"We're Fallon and Darren - we're siblings from Perth, WA on a personal mission to promote wellness and kidney health through movement, education, inspiration, and fundraising.

Our journey began in 2010 when Darren received the life-altering diagnosis of stage 5 kidney failure. Faced with the prospect of daily dialysis or the search for a kidney transplant, the following months would change our lives forever.

In late 2014, Fallon began the process to become a live kidney donor. After eight long months of comprehensive tests & evaluations, we received incredible news - we were a perfect match! (In medical terms, we matched 12/12 HLA antigens, we're practically twins!)

On June 30, 2015, Darren received a brand new kidney, lovingly dubbed 'the bean,' while Fallon got a couple of battle scars. Our journey has been a rollercoaster, revealing the strength and resilience within us.

Throughout our experience, we've come to realise that countless fellow Aussies are going through their own kidney health challenges. We are committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals just like us.

We firmly believe that fitness and health extend beyond the physical realm, deeply affecting mental well-being. Our goal is to inspire you to embrace movement, appreciate your body, and indulge in the activities you love - all while supporting your fellow Australians.

You might be curious about the name 'Fit-Squirrel.' Well, squirrels may be small in size, but they're really tough - just like us!
